SEED is looking for Indigenous first language speakers interested in taking FREE money management training sessions in Cree, Oji-Cree, or Ojibwe.

Money Stories in first language – AVAILABLE NOW!

  • First language speakers can now take our Money Stories money management training in the following languages:
    • Cree
    • Oji-Cree
    • Ojibwe
  • Participants must speak either Cree, Oji-Cree, or Ojibway and have access to a device and internet.

TO REGISTER:

Organizations/communities:

Organizations/communities can request a one-hour virtual workshop on any of the following topics:

  • Budgeting
  • Credit
  • Banking
  • Goal Setting & Problem Solving
  • Needs Vs Wants
  • Asset Building
  • Community Economic Development

Or request a full 8-hour Money Stories series that covers all of the above topics.

  • 8-week program
  • Once per week
  • 60 minutes per session
  • Done online via Zoom (potential for in-person classes once provincial health orders allow)

We can offer some flexibility in designing the program to meet the needs of your organization. For example, sessions can be doubled up or held multiple times per week to finish faster than 8-weeks.
