When she immigrated to Canada, Ojandi dreamed of sharing her traditional cakes with her new community. Her entrepreneurial path took shape when she discovered SEED Winnipeg. Through the Business & Enterprise Support & Training (BEST) program and one-on-one support from Business Consultant Priscila, Ojandi began to rebuild her business with a stronger foundation. “Her guidance helped me identify areas for improvement and make better business decisions,” Ojandi shared.
With a tailored strategy, Ojandi improved her management skills, gained insight into the local market, and learned how to manage her finances effectively. As a result, her business saw a significant increase in sales and growth. “I always felt heard, valued, and motivated. Today, Azukita by OG is thriving, offering Canadians a taste of Dominican tradition while inspiring other newcomers to pursue their dreams. Ojandi now shares her experience openly, encouraging others to explore SEED’s programs and believe in their own potential.
