Accessibility
SEED Winnipeg is committed to working toward an inclusive society. We believe that every member of our community should be able to take advantage of our services and that our building at 80 Salter Street should be welcoming and fully accessible to all. By developing and following an Accessibility Plan, we strive to ensure everyone can participate at SEED Winnipeg.
Active Offer and Feedback
To meet the needs of community members who face barriers to accessing our services, we do our best to offer accommodations upon request. We also welcome your feedback about the accessibility of our services and website. Please email accessibility@seedwinnipeg.ca with any feedback or accommodation requests.
Building Accessibility
Our building at 80 Salter Street is accessible for those who use a wheelchair. Our building features:
- A ramped ground-level entrance
- One accessible parking spot
- Two accessible washrooms
- Improved lighting to increase the visibility of the hallway and washrooms
- Updated green light-up exit signs
Website Accessibility
In October 2024, SEED Winnipeg launched a new website with the aim to ensure that we can meet WCAG Level 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
Funding for this project was provided by the Manitoba Government through the Manitoba Accessibility Fund.
