Get $3 for every $1 you save towards a goal up to $1,000

How Does It Work?

Saving Circle is a matched savings program. For every $1 you save in the program (up to $250), you receive a $3 match (up to $750). Your savings and the matched savings combine for up to $1,000 that you can use to buy things that:

  • Help you save money
    For example: a washer/dryer, a freezer
  •

  • Help you with education or getting a job
For example: a computer, job-related training, books, cell phone, a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), a Peg City Car Co-op membership
  •

  • Are related to your health or quality of life
For example: eyeglasses, dental work, disability supports, a Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)
  •

  • Make your home better
For example: a damage deposit on a new rental, basic furniture
  •

  • Help you build up emergency savings in a Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) at Assiniboine Credit Union.
Please note: this must be paired with another eligible goal

As part of the program, you will attend an eight-week Money Management Training course on topics including:

  • Budgeting
  • Banking
  • Credit, debt, and more
