Business Enterprise Support & Training (BEST) program is a free, 5-week small business training and consulting program available to all Manitoba residents living on a low-income who would like to start or expand a business. The program is also available to groups or organizations wanting to open a social enterprise. The program is presented on Zoom in 3 phases:
- Phase 1: Small Business Management Training
- Phase 2: One-to-one Business Consulting
- Phase 3: Business Launch & Aftercare
This cohort of training will run weekdays during the day from February 19th – March 21st, 2025 (Mon, Wed, and Fri, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm).
Attending one of our information sessions is required. Information session dates are January 8th, January 15th, and January 20th, 2025, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Once you have attended an information session, you may complete and submit a full application.
Who Can Apply:
To qualify, you need to:
- Live in Manitoba
- Have a business idea that will help create a stronger and healthier community
- Have some skill, experience or training in the area desired to start a business
- Live on a low income or serve people living on a low income
A Zoom link will be sent three business days before the program starts to everyone who has been accepted.
