Business Development Services – Information Session

Immigrant Business & Enterprise Support & Training Program

With support from Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada, SEED Winnipeg presents the Immigrant Business & Enterprise Support & Training Program once per year. Immigrant Business Enterprise Support & Training is a free 6-week business training and consulting program available to all Immigrant Manitoba residents living on a low-income who have a business idea. The program is presented in 3 phases.

Phase 1: Small Business Management Training
Phase 2: One-to-one Business Consulting
Phase 3: Business Launch & Aftercare

Training runs from May 13th – June 21st, 2024 (Mon, Wed, and Fri 6 pm – 8 pm except holiday May 20th)

Who Can Apply:

Immigrants and newcomers who are:

  • Have permanent resident status (a permanent residence number is required) or CUAET visas
  • Are residents of Manitoba
  • Have a business idea
  • Have some skill, experience, or training in the area desired to start a business
  • Are on a low income

To apply for the program, you must attend one information session. Spots are limited. Only 50 registrations accepted. A Zoom link will be sent two days before the workshop to everyone who has registered.
